Bethesda Gardens Arlington is pleased to announce it has donated $2,500 to Meals on Wheels. As a faith-based nonprofit, Bethesda Gardens strives to make an impact by giving back to the local community it serves. Meals On Wheels, Inc. prepares and delivers meals to elderly, homebound, and disabled people who are unable to cook meals for themselves and have no one in their homes to provide for their nutritional needs. In addition to meals, Meals on Wheels, Inc. also operates the following programs: supplemental groceries, medical equipment, errand and assurance, Friend to Friend, companion pet food, PAM, HomeMeds and Healthy Aging and Independent Living. The $2,500 donation went to help fund the errand and assurance program that provides air conditioners and other household needs for seniors in Tarrant County.
